The Role
Fidelity TalentSource is looking for an Investment Operations Analyst to support Fidelity Charitable during the high-volume Giving Season (October 15 – January 31).
The Investment Operations Analyst will be focused primarily on managed account setup in Advent APX and communicating new accounts issues internally.
Special Note:

This position will be required to participate in Dynamic Working, Fidelity’s hybrid onsite/offsite working model, and must be present in either Westlake, TX or Durham, NC regional office for 2 company specified weeks out of every 4 weeks. This contract is expected to end on January 31, 2025 unless it is deemed that there is an opportunity to extend it on a month-by-month basis. This position occurs during our busiest and most demanding time of the year. We will observe the following Federal Holidays: Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, New Year’s Day, Martin Luther King Day. Outside of those holidays, illness, or extenuating circumstances, there is an expectation to work all other business days.
The Expertise and Skills You Bring

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  • Experience in investment operations and/or back office support
  • Strong attention to detail and quality
  • Ability to closely follow steps in a procedure
  • Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, macros, pivot tables)
  • Problem solving and process improvement mindset
  • Ability to enter complete and accurate data in a portfolio accounting system
  • Experience in Advent APX, or another portfolio accounting system/software preferred
  • Research qualitative and quantitative data for newly funded managed accounts in internal systems and accurately input into Advent APX
  • Maintain managed accounts in correct groups and composites in Advent APX
  • Identify and communicate setup issues internally via XTRAC case management tracking system
  • No vacation time during holiday season except federal holidays
  • Must be flexible with overtime

Currently, most hybrid roles require associates to work onsite all business days of one assigned week per four-week period (beginning in September 2024, the requirement will be two full assigned weeks).
