Laboratory Operations Analyst

Our large pharmaceutical client is currently seeking a Laboratory Analyst to join their growing team in Cambridge, MA. This individual will be providing operational and laboratory support to their Immunology Translational Research team with managing multiple databases, developing and running assays for clinical trials, coordinating and communicating with vendors, tracking and managing inventory and clinical samples, ordering supplies as well as maintaining and troubleshooting laboratory equipment. Other responsibilities include:

  • Updating and maintaining antibody inventory for all clinical trials and past trials (PD1 AD Exploratory, TNFR2, etc.).
  • Developing and running assays (primarily Flow Cytometry and MSD Proteomics Assays) to support phase 1 and phase 2 clinical trails
  • Populating antibody and assay database for current inventory and ongoing projects
  • Coordinating and following up with internal teams and vendors for inventory management
  • Completing Clinical Aurora and HT cell counter maintenance
  • Ordering new antibodies or necessary reagents and tracking to ensure receipt of items.
  • BSI reconciliation and updating of sample inventory
  • ELN and supporting material (SOP scans, updated final batch SOP, etc.)


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a Science related field
  • 2+ years of flow cytometry experience
  • Prior GMP or research/pharmaceutical industry experience
  • Prior MSD assay experience is a plus



Pay: $35.00-$45.00/hr (flexible based on experience)

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 9:00am-5:00pm

Hiring Method: 8 month contract with a high likelihood of extension and/or permanent hire

PTO: 10 PTO days & 6 paid sick days annually

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.
