As an Internal Business Development Consultant, you'll play a crucial role in supporting the Business Development Manager to cultivate and nurture a robust pipeline of Qualified Retirement Plan (QRP) opportunities. This position offers ample room for professional growth and development within a close-knit team environment.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to drive the sales process for Qualified Retirement Plans.
  • Provide expert recommendations on plan design and ensure seamless transition of closed opportunities into the plan conversion phase.
  • Generate revenue, create referral opportunities, and build strong relationships with clients.



What You'll Need to Succeed:

  • 7-10 years of financial services sales experience, with a focus on developing QRP sales pipelines.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or a related field.
  • Industry designations/certifications such as CRPS preferred, Series 65 required.
  • General understanding of retirement plan design, ERISA, and qualified retirement plan regulations.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook; Salesforce experience a plus.
  • Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and client-focused mindset.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to articulate complex concepts clearly.
  • Proven ability to build and nurture relationships with stakeholders and clients.
  • Process-driven with a commitment to adhering to internal processes.
