Human Resources Business Partner Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with departmental heads and senior leadership to understand organizational goals and develop HR strategies that support these objectives
  • Provide expert guidance and support to managers and employees on HR-related matters, including but not limited to employee relations, performance management and conflict resolution
  • Lead the recruitment and selection process for various positions within the organization, ensuring a diverse and inclusive candidate pool
  • Oversee onboarding and offboarding processes, ensuring a seamless experience for new hires and departing employees
  • Develop and implement training and development programs to enhance employee skills and foster professional growth
  • Drive initiatives to promote employee engagement, including recognition programs, feedback mechanisms and employee wellness initiatives
  • Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with employment laws, regulations and organizational policies
  • Serve as a liaison between employees and management, addressing concerns and fostering a positive work culture
  • Analyze HR metrics and data to identify trends and areas for improvement, providing insights to inform decision-making


Human Resources Business Partner Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration or a related field required
  • Proven experience as an HR Generalist or Business Partner, preferably in a non-profit or mission-driven organization
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations, with the ability to ensure compliance
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport at all levels of the organization
  • Demonstrated ability to think strategically and implement innovative HR solutions that drive organizational success
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities with attention to detail
