What are we looking for in our Tax Analyst II?
Job Title: Tax Analyst
Contract Duration: 6 months- Possibility of extension
Location: San Diego, CA
Pay Range: $35-$40/h on W2
Duties:
Ensure business tax(Corp, SCorp, Partnership, Fiduciary) offering compliance with tax regulation Research, analysis, and documentation of business tax issues of moderate to high complexity Creating and reviewing test case scenarios Identifying dependencies on E2E(federal/state) tax situation Working closely with team to optimize product for our consumers Drive development of improvements to tools and processes
Required Skills : At least two years' experience in tax related field leading to strong understanding of business tax returns Ability to translate tax law and form/instruction changes into algorithm and mathematical models Paying attention to Detail Active CPA, EA Effective communication skills Some level of programming skills is strongly desired but not required Understanding of tax payment and filing agency requirements Proficient in one or more specific business tax domains Demonstrated problem solving skills
