Company Overview

Insight Global is assisting a large manufacturing client of ours in identifying a 2nd shift Order Processor in the West Chester, OH area. They are seeking someone that is able to work the 2nd shift (2pm to 10:30pm) Monday through Friday with this role. Overtime is available but is not mandatory.


Position Summary

As an Entry-Level 2nd Shift Order Processor, you’ll play a crucial role in maintaining smooth production operations at our manufacturing plant. You’ll process order for customers that include packaging and labeling shipments to ensure timely departure from the facility.


Responsibilities

  • Order Processing: Package and process multiple customer orders in a timely and efficient manner
  • Materials Knowledge: Familiarize yourself with materials used in the manufacturing process.
  • Basic Troubleshooting: Conduct basic troubleshooting and root cause analysis related to quality issues.
  • Material Tagging: Tag material with printed barcodes and labels to keep product organized
  • Quality Assurance: Accurately complete “First Off Check Sheet” and perform quality checks at required intervals.
  • Safety and Compliance: Adhere to safety protocols and company policies.


Requirements

  • Experience: 1-2 years of Order Processing experience.
  • Mechanical Aptitude: Ability to understand basic computer tasks and troubleshoot issues.
  • Preferred Skills:
  • Previous Order processing experience
  • Basic computer skills.
