Network Support Analyst

Robert Half is searching for a Network Support Analyst for a Transportation and Logistics client in SeaTac, Washington. This Network Support Analyst will be tasked with providing in-depth, frontline troubleshooting support for routers, switches, firewalls, access points, and other networking technologies for 90+ client locations. This is a short-term contract (3 months) with potential to extend based on performance and client need. Additionally, this would be 100% onsite in SeaTac, Washington.

Responsibilities:

• Provide support to the network of the 90+ locations across the US.
• Work on ticket queue for troubleshooting deployments and updates.
• Make configuration changes to networking hardware, old and new.
• Perform administrative work: labeling, documenting, and shipping.
• Provide configuration, deployment, and troubleshooting support for routers, switches, firewalls, access points, and other network.
• Assist with project work, as needed.
• Work with Network Engineers to either escalate certain issues or collaborate to resolve complex issues.
• Troubleshoot a variety of site connectivity issues.
• Work with senior-level engineers, managers, and stakeholders as well as operational teams for various locations to troubleshoot and resolve any networking issue that may arise.

Requirements:

• Excellent troubleshooting skills and ability to determine what error is happening to appropriately resolve or escalate.
• Ability to troubleshoot site connectivity issues.
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Self-starter that thrives on challenges
• Ability to prioritize effectively in a dynamic environment
• 4+ years of enterprise networking experience

Highly Desirable Experience:

• Fortinet FortiManager & FortiGate
• Cisco Catalyst Switches
• Juniper EX 2300 and 3400 switches
• Aruba access points and the Airwave management platform
• Routing experience with BGP and OSPF troubleshooting
• Experience working for a Managed Service Provider

Highly Desirable Certifications:

• Fortinet NSE 5
• Cisco CCNA
• Juniper JNCIS-ENT
• Aruba ACMA

The salary range for this position is $45/hour to $65/hour. Benefits available to contract/temporary professionals, include medical, vision, dental, and life and disability insurance.
