Qualifications:

  • Pilates Comprehensive Certification: Certified across all Pilates apparatus with a minimum of 400 hours completed in a Comprehensive Pilates Teacher training program.
  • National Pilates Certification: Passed certification recognized nationally.
  • Previous Teaching Experience: Experience instructing Pilates classes, preferably within a boutique-style studio.
  • Anatomy and Physiology Knowledge: Strong understanding of anatomy, biomechanics, and exercise physiology.
  • Professionalism: Reliable, punctual, and possessing a professional demeanor.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients and create a supportive studio environment.
  • CPR/AED Certification: AHA CPR/AED certification or willingness to obtain upon hiring.
  • Studio Maintenance: Commitment to upholding cleanliness and safety standards within the studio.
  • Organizational Skills: Strong communication and organizational abilities.
  • Availability: Must be able to work early mornings and weekends to accommodate our clients' schedules.


Bonus Qualifications:

  • Experience working with prenatal/postpartum clients
  • Experience leading teacher training programs



Responsibilities:

  • Instruction: Conduct group and private Pilates sessions, focusing on technique, alignment, and safety for clients of varying skill levels.
  • Leadership: Lead Pilates classes and individual sessions, demonstrating proper form and technique while providing clear instructions.
  • Adaptation: Modify exercises to suit diverse fitness levels and abilities.
  • Client Assessment: Perform comprehensive assessments to evaluate clients' fitness levels, goals, and any special considerations.
  • Guidance: Provide clear instruction, guidance, and feedback to clients, ensuring a positive experience and facilitating progress.
  • Personalization: Develop customized Pilates programs tailored to individual client needs and goals.
  • Professional Development: Engage in ongoing training and development to stay updated with industry trends and best practices.
