Currently looking for an experienced superintendent to join our Houston team This person will manage projects, oversee field operations, and ensure safety. We are looking for someone with experience on Ground up commercial construction experience. Specifically working on education, healthcare, and MOB projects.


Essential responsibilities and Job Functions:

  • Create and maintain a detailed Construction Sequence and Schedule at the start of the project, ensuring it is updated throughout.
  • Understand subcontractor and supplier contract scopes and contribute to the buyout process.
  • Assist in preparing, managing, and updating the project schedule, including quantities, sequence, activity durations, and procurement items with the project team.
  • Establish the punch list process and collaborate with the Project Manager, Owner, and Architect on project close-out procedures.
  • Collaborate with the Project Manager to develop and manage the Pre-Construction Schedule.
  • Develop the site logistics plan.
  • Ensure all job safety requirements are understood and followed by project personnel and subcontractors, working closely with safety support personnel as needed.
  • Participate in onsite safety meetings.
  • Communicate the owner’s goals regarding construction to all field personnel to ensure alignment.


Minimum Qualifications:

  • 5-10 years of experience as a commercial construction Superintendent.
  • Bachelor’s degree in construction science/engineering or equivalent commercial construction experience.
  • Experience in Higher Education projects.
  • Proven experience in developing and managing project schedules.
  • Familiarity with working with local subcontractors in Houston, TX.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and scheduling software.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
