Our client, a leader in the biotech industry, is looking to hire an Inventory Control Specialist to support clients in Cambridge, MA.


*This job is a 3-month W2 contract role with benefits*


As an Inventory Control Specialist, you will be responsible for overseeing lab equipment inventory including calibration and preventive maintenance scheduling with customers and vendors. You will bring your exceptional customer service skills and high attention to detail to add, update and remove customer equipment from asset tracking software and ensure accurate and timely delivery of customer requests. Ideal candidates come from a lab or life sciences background


Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary point of contact to support all customer requests, inquiries, and service call
  • Liase with external vendors to ensure efficient and timely solutions to onsite issues, maintenance, and calibration
  • Monitor queue and resolve all work orders using Remedy & ServiceNow ticketing systems
  • Work with customer and site-based personnel to ensure correct instrument entitlements, high-quality service, and compliance, following Standard Operating Procedure and GEMBA

Desired Skills & Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in life sciences or related field
  • 2+ working experience in asset management
  • Prior knowledge of ServiceNow and/or Remedy a plus
