Job Details

We are seeking a skilled and motivated BAS Controls Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in building automation systems (BAS), with a focus on hands-on installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of BAS hardware and software. You will play a crucial role in ensuring our clients' systems operate efficiently and effectively, contributing to their overall energy management goals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Install, configure, and commission BAS/BMS and DDC controls systems.
  • Perform routine maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on BAS equipment.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues with BAS hardware and software to ensure optimal system performance.
  • Collaborate with other technicians and contractors on-site to ensure successful project completion.
  • Program BAS devices according to project specifications.
  • Provide excellent customer service by explaining technical issues clearly and concisely to clients.
  • Keep up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in BAS technology.

Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience with BAS/BMS or DDC controls.
  • Familiarity with one or more of the following platforms: Siemens, Schneider Electric, Johnson Controls, Alerton, Delta Controls, Trane, ALC, or similar.
  • Experience with Tridium Niagara is a plus.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical issues in a clear and concise manner.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
