Job Responsibilities:
Responsible for leading the planning and development of accounting and reporting processes for compliance with applicable accounting standards.
Facilitate the management of account payables, receivables, reconciliations prepare financial statements for the parent company in France.

Accounting Functions
- Manages the ongoing daily operations of accounting operations and the timely preparation of financial statements for the company.
- Maintain and update Account Receivables and Payables. Processes all accounts payable transactions including vendor bills ensuring accuracy of each bill and proper classification. Generates vendor checks or ACH/wire payments
- Performs accounts receivables duties by accurate posting and classification of the daily receivable transactions, preparing deposit slips when needed.
- Prepare cash flow statements to report to our French parent company and senior management. Responsible for Credit & Collections.
- Responsible for monthly balance sheet reconciliations by assigned due date.
- Supervises banking relations and cash management activities. Reconcile bank statements each month. Ensures all covenants of loan agreements are met. Manage and review checkbook, complete monthly bank reconciliations by the assigned due date. Primary signatory for all disbursements checks and maintains petty cash fund.
- Audit paperwork to ensure compliance with company document management and retention policies.
- Research and provide documentation to Management for internal and external auditors.
- Maintains risk management program and relations with insurance representative.
- Prepares such other studies and analyses as may be requested by management from financial records.
- Maintains relations with the outside accounting firm and provides data for the preparation of the Payroll, Federal income tax returns and/or audit as may be requested.
- Calculate, track, and pay sales commissions.
- Run the appropriate programs for costing, post all transactions, review the general ledger accounts, and prepare journal entries for corrections.
- Helps the company avoid legal challenges by understanding the current and propose legislation and recommending new, efficient procedures

Job Requirements:
1-4 years of experience working in accounting financial reporting.  
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Management, or any related field is a plus. 
Working knowledge of applicable accounting standards and practices
Outstanding analytical skills and a keen eye for detail
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Must be able to read, write and speak English. Knowledge of French a plus.
Proficient with Microsoft Office and Excel and accounting software.
Strong (effective) written and verbal communication skills, exceptional computer skills, with emphasis in spreadsheet and word processing applications.
Experience working with individuals across different geographies and cultures, as well as with cross-division departments.
