Job Description:
· Monitors functioning lab tests, performs simple corrective actions and contacts the appropriate individual when required. Cleans up as time allows.
Responsibilities:
· Possess effective written and verbal communication skills, enabling correspondence with internal departments and vendors
· Working knowledge of personal computers, spreadsheets, and word processing
· Understanding of trouble shooting methodologies to identify root cause
· Knowledge of test equipment, e.g., mustimeters, oscilloscopes, etc.
· Ability to read basic engineering documents, e.g., schematics or diagrams
· Ability to comprehend product/process component datasheets
· Ability to assemble and disassemble products
· Ability to maintain lab equipment
· Ability to perform basic mechanical work
· Ability to work with minimal supervision
Experience:
· Required: Minimum one year of related experience
· Preferred: Three or more years of related experience
Skills:
· Understanding of trouble shooting methodologies to identify root cause
· Knowledge of test equipment, e.g., multimeters, oscilloscopes, etc.
· Ability to read and interpret engineering documents (e.g., schematics, diagrams)
· Possess effective written and verbal communication skills, enabling correspondence with internal departments and vendors.
· Skill in assembling and disassembling products.
Education:
· A.S. in Electronics or a two-year technical diploma, equivalent military certification or equivalent experience
