Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled NDT Level II Technician to join our team at HMT LLC. As a key member of our inspection team, you will be responsible for performing non-destructive testing and inspection services to ensure the integrity and safety of our clients' assets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform MFL, UT, MT, LT/BT, and PT inspections to identify defects and anomalies in materials and equipment.
  • Collect and process data from inspections, ensuring compliance with HMT's procedures and customer requirements.
  • Drive a vehicle safely in oil and gas facilities and field sites, adhering to all safety protocols.
  • Utilize standard computer software, such as MS Word and Excel, to document and analyze inspection data.
  • Maintain a positive relationship with clients, facilities, and customers, promoting a collaborative and respectful work environment.
  • Ensure adherence to HMT's safety policies and procedures, identifying and reporting any safety concerns or incidents.
Qualifications and Education

To be successful in this role, you must have documented in-classroom training or work experience in non-destructive testing. You should be technically competent and knowledgeable in the application of current inspection codes and standards.

Desirable Certifications
  • CPR and First Aid certification
  • TWIC Card
  • AOCF and PMT III (DOT OQ) certifications
  • Respirator fit testing
  • OSHA 10 and 30 training
  • JLG lift operator certification
  • Current safety training, including confined space, fall protection, LOTO, HazCom, etc.
Requirements
  • Documented in-classroom training and work experience in non-destructive testing
  • Ability to meet HMT's certification standards
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word and Excel
  • Self-motivated with excellent written and verbal communication skills, and a positive team-oriented attitude
  • Clean driving record
  • Pass DISA background and drug and alcohol screening
  • Current Driver's License from state of residence
  • Willingness to travel
  • Able to lift and carry a minimum of 50 lbs.
