A Benefits Assistant will assist in benefit offerings and maintaining benefit records under direct supervision by the Benefits Supervisor. Attention to detail, organization and ability to multi-task are critical skills for success in the role.

What it takes:

  • Associate's degree, six months to one-year related HR experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Experience in customer service (desired)
  • Perform confidential employee record maintenance relating to the administration of benefits. Create and maintain employee benefit files.
  • Process employee record changes and the related impacts to benefits.
  • Complete benefit orientations, ensuring the highest level of customer service is granted.
  • Complete time off enrollment, tracking, and reporting.
  • Serve as customer service interface to employees and insured family members. Provide timely, understandable and complete information.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
