  • Ensure a smooth onboarding process, facilitating new hire orientation and training for seamless integration into the team.

Employee Relations

  • Handle employee relations issues such as grievances, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution with a fair and compliant approach.
  • Promote a positive and inclusive workplace culture, supporting employee engagement and retention efforts.

Performance Management

  • Coordinate the performance review process, working with managers to establish goals, conduct evaluations, and facilitate development plans.

  • Maintain and update HR policies, procedures, and employee handbooks to ensure relevance and compliance with legal standards.
  • Conduct audits and maintain accurate personnel records and files in line with company policies and regulatory requirements.

Benefits Administration

  • Oversee benefits enrollment, changes, and terminations, acting as a resource for employees with questions about health, dental, retirement, and other benefits.
  • Manage leave of absence programs, ensuring compliance with FMLA and other regulatory requirements.
  • Support the HR team in coordinating annual open enrollment and benefits-related communications.

Training and Development

  • Coordinate training programs, including safety training, compliance training, and job-specific skill development.
  • Track training completion and certification requirements, ensuring all employees meet necessary compliance standards.
  • Support leadership development programs and foster a learning culture within the organization.

HR Operations and Data Management

  • Maintain and update employee information in HRIS systems, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Generate and analyze HR metrics and reports on turnover, attendance, performance, and other key indicators to inform HR strategies.
  • Assist with payroll preparation, attendance tracking, and ensuring accuracy in timekeeping records.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred; SHRM-CP or PHR certification is a plus.
  • 3-5 years of HR Generalist experience, preferably within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • Strong understanding of HR practices, employment laws, and regulations.
  • Proficiency in HRIS systems (e.g., ADP, Workday) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict-resolution skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain a high level of confidentiality.

Skills and Competencies:

  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.
  • Demonstrated experience in employee relations and talent acquisition.
  • High attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy and compliance.

Working Conditions:

  • Primarily based in an office setting with periodic visits to the manufacturing floor as required.
