The primary objective of the Preconstruction Manager is to manage the process and resources that provide quality pre-construction services to both internal and external clients and review the progress of existing projects to ensure their completion within the parameters of the established preconstruction scope of services. The main objectives of this position are to provide high quality HVAC preconstruction services, and system guidance to our customers, both Internal and External, to assist in the successful delivery of our projects. Preferred additional skills for added success in this role include similar Electrical experience estimating, history developing and maintaining client and designer relationships and proficiency in the use of OST and Modeling software for visualization and QTO. This position reports to and receives directions from the Preconstruction Director and VP of Preconstruction.

MEP Preconstruction Manager Required Qualifications:

  • 9+ years full time relevant industry experience
  • 9+ years in HVAC, Plumbing, FP Systems Preconstruction / Estimating
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Value Management processes
  • Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office Excel, Microsoft Word, and Powerpoint
  • Bachelor’s Degree - Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management or equivalent/applicable degree and minimum 7 years prior relevant experience.
