Exciting Career Opportunity: Strategic Sourcing Manager


Are you ready to take the reins in leading spend categories to ensure our company's success? We're seeking a Strategic Sourcing Manager to drive our sourcing strategies, secure competitive pricing, and uphold our high standards for materials. Reporting to the Director of Supply Chain, you'll be at the forefront of developing strategic vendor partnerships and executing key initiatives to optimize our supply chain.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Craft category strategy plans and roadmaps, leveraging your market knowledge to meet stakeholder needs effectively.
  • Implement strategic sourcing processes to continually enhance cost reduction and service levels across our facilities.
  • Manage RFI/RFQ/RFP processes, from detailed cost modeling to contract negotiations, ensuring favorable outcomes.
  • Collaborate closely with our Contract Management & Risk Management team to uphold agreement obligations.
  • Lead the execution of strategies aimed at achieving organizational goals, including cost savings and waste reduction.
  • Identify new sources of supply both locally and globally, maintaining ethical supplier relationships and securing quality products at the best prices.
  • Stay informed on market conditions for raw materials and categories, adapting strategies accordingly.
  • Drive process improvements to foster collaboration, efficiency, and execution ease.
  • Present comprehensive reports to all levels of the organization, providing valuable insights.
  • Fulfill ad hoc requests from Leadership as needed.


Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or related field OR a minimum of 8 years of experience in procurement or supply chain management, preferably within the food & beverage industry.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly strong Excel skills, and solid database knowledge.
  • Demonstrated business acumen and expertise in category management.
  • Strong negotiation skills and the ability to cultivate effective vendor relationships.
  • Excellent communication skills to engage with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Interpersonal skills to foster strong relationships internally and externally.
  • Critical thinking mindset to analyze alternatives and align with corporate strategies.
  • Self-motivated with a drive to continuously improve processes.
