Qualifications:

• Ability to work well in a high-pace dynamic environment, handle multiple projects simultaneously, and ensure task completion and deadlines are met as required
• Planning, scheduling, assigning, coordinating and monitoring the work of professional, and technical staff.
• Planning, implementing and coordinating comprehensive programs and projects;
• Thinking conceptually
• Observing and evaluating trends
• Operation of a personal computer and applicable software including CAD
• Communicating effectively orally and in writing with supervisors, contractors, developers, employees, and community members.
• Conducting research, analyzing data and compiling comprehensive reports, with recommendations.
• Interpreting administrative guidelines and applying them to the work situation;
• High level proficiency with “AutoCAD Civil 3D” and the ability to work with survey data.
• Project management experience is required, and the ability to meet with clients and municipalities to explain and defend design details.
• Site field experience and construction methods impacting civil and structural design
• Experience with site preparation and drainage design.
• Working knowledge of civil design software packages: Civil 3D
• Self-motivated and self-directed

Experience and Education

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from an accredited university or college
• Minimum of 6 years professional experience in related discipline
• Professional Engineering (Civil/Structural) license in ID; ability to obtain WA license within 12 months
• Experienced in all project phases from scope development, execution, and closeout
• Experience in Project/Task Management
• Experience in business development or experience working with clients and public entities
• Required to have a valid driver’s license, with an acceptable driving record.
• Required to have strong technical writing abilities with experience using Microsoft Word.
• Proficient with general computer skills (MS Office Suite etc.).
• Must have superior customer service skills, be team-oriented and enjoy service-oriented work.
