Project Finance Associate


We are currently seeking a Senior Associate to join our Renewables Investment Team.


As a Associate/ Sr Associate, you’ll spearhead both existing and new renewable energy investments with tangible and measurable impacts. Your main responsibilities will include the following:


  • Maintain, and own relationships with customers to both enhance existing relationship and develop fresh investment possibilities.
  • Take charge of transactions across the investment lifecycle – from origination and underwriting to financial modeling, investment approvals, definitive documentation, and deal closing.
  • Oversee due diligence efforts for investment prospects and fostering seamless collaboration and efficiency with all transaction stakeholders, including external legal counsel and third-party consultants.
  • Development and implementation of intricate financial models for various investment endeavors, along with reviewing detailed investment committee documentation.
  • Team growth, cohesion, and success by working collaboratively with both junior and senior members of the team.


Candidates must have experience within the renewable energy industry in the context of investing in projects and/or development companies. The ideal candidate will have renewables-focused experience spanning both corporate and project/structured finance, including tax equity and debt underwriting.


The successful candidate:

  • Substantial experience in handling multiple renewable energy transactions.
  • Strong Financial Modeling, Project Finance, and Tax Equity skills.
  • Ownership in their work and be proactive in taking on responsibilities.
  • The ability to work autonomously, efficiently multitask, prioritize, communicate effectively, and thrive within a tight-knit team in a collaborative environment.
  • A robust work ethic, integrity, humility, and receptiveness to direction.
  • A team player who collaborates seamlessly with colleagues across.
  • Outcomes with precision and respond thoughtfully to unforeseen events.
  • A track record of excellence in demanding academic settings, particularly within finance.
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills, coupled with sharp financial and analytical acumen – effectively conveying concepts and ideas while defending their validity.
  • mastery in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and other relevant tools.
