A leader in Aerospace & Defense with 80+ years of innovation, with an award-winning work culture, is looking for a Quality Director who will be a strong leader within one of their fastest growing divisions.


As the Quality Director you will lead quality assurance efforts, ensuring compliance from contract review to shipment. You will also manage quality systems, overseeing inspections, resolving defects, driving continuous improvements, and ensuring adherence to aerospace quality standards like ISO-9001 and AS-9100.


Compensation of the Quality Director:

  • Highly competitive salary of $170-180k
  • Short term bonus of 15%, with a long-term 10% bonus
  • Award winning culture


Key Responsibilities of the Quality Director:

  • Maintain compliance with quality standards and revise technical specifications.
  • Conduct audits, inspections, and root cause analyses.
  • Implement Quality processes at the Design stages
  • Help to develop new quality management standards for product development.
  • Drive process improvements, reduce variability, and oversee corrective actions.
  • Develop training programs and manage quality documentation.
  • Build relationships with customers, vendors, and consultants.
  • Lead and develop a cross-functional quality team while managing budgets and resources.


Qualifications of the Quality Director:

  • Bachelor’s degree (Engineering preferred) and 10+ years of relevant experience.
  • Expertise in aerospace quality standards (AS-9100 or ISO-9100), continuous improvement tools (Lean, Six Sigma), and process mapping.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and computer skills.
