In conjunction with our sister company, Green Roof Solutions, Vertically Green has acted as the premiere US distributor for the Vistafolia® Artificial Green Wall System since 2017.

We’re looking for a results-driven sales representative with excellent interpersonal skills to actively seek out and engage customer prospects.
This position will also include working with other team members to support existing customers, accounts, and product orders.
There is potential for travel and trade-show operation.
This is a full-time, in-office position out of our Glenview, IL office. 

Compensation & Benefits

  • Base Salary: $50,000
  • Commission program

Responsibilities

  • Find potential leads by cold calling, emailing, or scheduling in-person meetings.
  • Present, promote, and sell our products to existing and prospective customers; this could include in-person sales visits, phone calls, video calls and emailing.
  • Establish, develop, and maintain positive business/customer relationships.
  • Guide customers through the ordering process from start to finish.
  • Provide all customers with exceptional support.
  • Maintain contact lists, keep track of leads and open orders, and follow up with customers accordingly.
  • Communicate with warehouse team to ensure timely order fulfillment; in some cases, help with simple warehouse tasks including packing orders and preparing shipment documentation.
  • Trade show representation: Duties vary, but may include constructing and dismantling simple displays, managing the booth during shows, and meeting with potential customers.

Skills & Qualifications

  • 2+ years of sales or customer service experience (required)
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills (required)
  • Self-motivated/self-managed with excellent prioritization and time management skills (required)
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace (required)
  • Interest in sustainability and green industries (preferred)
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, communications, or related field (preferred)
  • Experience with QuickBooks (or other accounting software) and DropBox (preferred)
