Trial Paralegal
Our well-respected law firm client in Dallas, Texas is in search of a 5+ year Trial Paralegal with experience in civil litigation matters. This is a hybrid opportunity with 1 day remote after initial training period.

Trial Paralegal Role:
The Trial Paralegal will support a variety of attorneys including Partner level and Associates. 
The Trial Paralegal will be assigned cases from inception and manage them through completion. 
Perform investigation, legal research, and prepare chronologies. 
Draft a variety of documents including pleadings, motions, briefs, and discovery and perform cite checks on said documentation. 
Assist with heavy document production on complex civil litigation issues. 
Prepare for and attend depostions, hearings, arbitrations, and trial. 
Prepare initial first draft of discovery documents and other complex documentation. 
Perform trial preparation including trial binders, exhibit notebooks, witness lists, etc. 
Use trial presentation technology at trials. 

Trial Paralegal Profile:
The Trial Paralegal must have 5 years of civil litigation experience and have attended trial for 1st chair attorney. 
Proficiency in billing software such as 3E or Elite is highly desired. 
Proficiency in iManage or similar software is required. 
Proficiency in software such as Trial Director or similar technology. 
Proficiency in e-discovery platform such as DISCO or Relativity. 
Knowledge of Federal and Texas Rules of Civil Procedure. 
Experience with state and federal e-filing. 
Ability to organize large document productions. 
Must be a self-starter and team player with critical thinking skills. 
Excellent attention to detail and superb proofreading skills. 
Strong written and verbal communication skills. 
Technological prowess and ability to utilize standard software such as Microsoft Office Suite. 
Ability to work in a team environment that is fast paced. 
College degree and/or a paralegal certification from an ABA approved program is highly desirable.
