Nurse Paralegal Role
This nurse paralegal will bring a unique blend of nursing expertise and legal insight to support our attorneys in handling intricate trucking injury cases.
Review and meticulously analyze medical records, including hospital charts, physician notes, and diagnostic reports, to extract pertinent information relevant to trucking injury cases.
Construct comprehensive medical chronologies outlining the timeline of events, treatments, and diagnoses, facilitating a clear understanding of the medical narrative for legal proceedings.
Conduct thorough medical research, keeping abreast of healthcare and legal standards pertinent to trucking accidents, injuries, and treatment modalities.
Collaborate closely with attorneys to formulate case strategies and assist in drafting legal documents such as pleadings, motions, and discovery requests.
Liaise with healthcare providers, expert witnesses, and other stakeholders to gather essential information and coordinate case-related activities.
Prepare detailed medical summaries and exhibits for use in depositions, hearings, and trials, ensuring clarity and accuracy in the presentation of medical evidence.
Provide invaluable support during trial proceedings, including aiding in witness preparation and presenting medical evidence to the court with confidence and precision.
Nurse Paralegal Background
Minimum 2+ years of Nurse Paralegal experience required
Must have prior experience drafting medical chronologies
Paralegal Certificate a plus but not mandatory
Prior experiencce as a Registered Nurse with a minimum of 3 years in acute care, emergency medicine, or related field
Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and communication skills
Firm needs a friendly but hard-working candidate
Candidate must possess the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks
Candidate must be punctual and enjoy working in a team environment
Candidate must be able to multi-task in a very fast-paced environment
Candidate must have superior organizational skills
