Role: Business Controller
As a Business Controller, you will play a pivotal role in the company's journey toward transforming the world through innovation. You will work closely with the Finance and Operations team and report to the VP of Accounting based in Norway. This role is integral to the company's mission of creating an abundant supply of physical labour through safe, intelligent androids that work alongside humans.

With dual headquarters in San Francisco and Norway, the company values in-person collaboration to ensure effective execution in their hardware-focused environment. They seek passionate candidates who share their dedication to innovation and excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
· Lead the US financial operations, including accounting processes, payroll management, and financial reporting.
· Administer and innovate the employee benefits program, ensuring comprehensive coverage and legal compliance.
· Drive cash flow management and forecasting, identifying trends and setting accurate projections.
· Champion continuous process improvement to enhance efficiency and establish best practices.
Must-Haves:
· Background in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
· Proven experience as a Business Controller or in a similar role, ideally within a technology-driven organization.
· Strong knowledge of financial and administrative management principles, practices, and regulatory requirements.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
· Strong business acumen and the ability to understand the strategic goals of the company.
· Good understanding of IT applications and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
· Ability to work independently and be self-driven, as well as collaboratively as part of a team.
· Detail-oriented and organized.

· Experience working in a company with operations in several states and/or countries.

Requirements
Qualifications: • Proven experience as a Front-End Developer or in a similar role. • Proficiency in developing applications across web, desktop, and mobile platforms. • Strong understanding of common technology stacks. • Expertise in HTML, CSS, and SASS. • Advanced skills in front-end languages, particularly JavaScript and TypeScript. • Experience with at least one major front-end framework/library (e.g., Angular, React, Vue.js, Redux). • Knowledge of API integration and management. • Familiarity with source code management and CI/CD tools (e.g., git, Azure DevOps, Jenkins). • Experience with databases such as MSSQL, MySQL, or MongoDB, and web servers like NGINX, Apache, or IIS. • Understanding of UI/UX design principles. • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities. • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. • Analytical mindset with problem-solving capabilities. • Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
