 Fire Alarm Technician/ Installer Duties and Responsibilities

  • Install or upgrade fire alarms in commercial buildings
  • Test and repair alarm systems already in place
  • Perform inspections to ensure alarms are installed according to code
  • Complete detailed inspection reports, documenting any issues
  • Respond to emergency service calls
  • Maintain a clean and safe workspace

Fire Alarm Technician Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience
  • Experience with commercial systems
  • Troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to work on ladders and lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Valid driver's license 
  • Experience installing diverse types of Fire Alarm Systems
  • NICET Certified in Fire Alarm Systems
