The Stepping Stones Group is seeking passionate and dedicated Speech-Language Pathology Assistants to join our team in providing exceptional therapy services to students in schools. Full time, school-based in New Orleans, LA


The ideal candidate will assist to conduct assessments to evaluate student's speech, language, and communication abilities, develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings, and provide therapy services to students individually and in group settings. This position also involves collaborating with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support students' communication needs, monitoring student's progress, and adjusting treatment plans as necessary. The candidate will also maintain accurate and up-to-date records of therapy sessions and progress reports.


Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree Speech-Language Pathology
  • State license or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant
  • Experience working with children and adolescents in a school setting
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
