Position Type:

Full-time, Exempt. Core working hours are Monday through Friday 9a to 5p, with flexibility to meet the needs of the team and those served. Work hours are based on the needs of the program. Ensure the delivery of quality services by providing leadership, including planning, directing, organizing, and influencing the work of others in an effective and culturally competent manner. Direct efficient operations by overseeing staff coverage sufficient to maintain responsive services, assess utilization, workflow, and the activities of staff as assigned. Develop human resources by recruiting, and reviewing qualified applicants for employment, orienting, continuously training and coaching staff, communicating, monitoring, and setting performance and productivity standards, appraising performance, developing and implementing a staff development plan that enhances services. Maximize revenue by ensuring that all work processes are designed to maximum direct service delivery. Develop clinical groups to support increased revenues. Work with the Director/Program Manager to routinely review financial statements and balance income and expense. Promote effective, integrated service delivery by developing and communicating knowledge of the agency’s services, providing relevant information to assigned staff, establishing and working on cross functional Mission, Vision, Philosophy (MVP) teams. Develop programming by assessing consumer and community needs, researching and designing innovative and effective models of service, working with other organizations, funders and/or community representatives to implement supports and services. Enhance continuous improvement by addressing deficiencies in a direct and timely fashion ensuring high quality and consumer satisfaction with service delivery. Foster an agency culture of cooperation by focused problem resolution and activities that support teamwork and the agency mission, vision and values. Communicating respectfully and completely all information to the staff. Participating with others on special projects. Perform other tasks that are specific to the services provided as follows: conduct individual and group therapy sessions for the individuals who receive ECSC services; document meeting all federal, state and CCBH standards; ensure that appropriate CCBH initial authorization request and Continued Stay Reviews are done in a timely fashion; provide clinical and administrative supervision for the staff on the ECSC team; facilitate team meetings weekly and as needed; provide and document individual supervision once per month; review electronic medical record and charts for compliance with Federal, State, County and CCCBH guidelines and regulations; and provide 24-hour crisis supervision/back-up as scheduled. * Prospective employee hired for this position will receive a $3,000 sign on bonus. The employee will receive the first third of the bonus after the successful completion of three (3) months of employment, the second third of the bonus will be awarded after the successful completion of six (6) months of employment, and the final third will be awarded after achieving a "satisfactory" rating or higher on the annual performance evaluation.

Qualifications

Master’s Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling or a Psychiatric Nurse with current PA license. At least five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in social services required; at least two (2) years of management and counseling experience recommended. Act 33/34 (PA State Criminal and Child Abuse) Clearances and FBI Clearance. Valid PA driver’s license and driving history of three (3) years with MVR required.
