Software Developer Responsibilities:

Building and maintaining scalable and robust frontend applications using React, TypeScript, and other modern JavaScript technologies. Work with designers, product owners and stakeholders to define and validate visual requirements, user workflow and UI prototypes. Work with UI engineers, as well as maintain, evolve and modernize our existing video encoding platforms. Developing reusable, efficient, and accessible UI components according to design specifications. Working with GraphQL or REST APIs for integration with backend services. Actively influence future innovations by following the latest and most efficient UI technology trends. Advocate culture of collaboration and teamwork between engineers.

Software Developer Qualifications:

3+ years of frontend engineering experiences. Experience with Next.js or other server-side rendering frameworks. JavaScript / ES6 / TypeScript: Strong understanding of fundamental JavaScript concepts, extensive knowledge of ES6, as well as familiarity with TypeScript and understanding of its benefits and use cases. Familiar with CSS, CSS pre-processors like SASS / LESS, and Frameworks such as Bootstrap or Material-UI. Understanding of modern front-end build pipelines and tools. Familiar with GraphQL/NodeJS, RESTful API and understanding of modern front-end build pipelines and tools. Performance Optimization: Ability to optimize components for maximum performance across web-capable devices and browsers. Accessibility and Testing: Awareness about accessible front-end design and user testing, and knowledge of testing libraries (like Jest, Enzyme, or React Testing Library). Communication Skills: Ability to work in a team, understand specifications, and clearly communicate problems.Familiarity with technical writing and design documentation.Familiarity with container technology and management such as Docker and Kubernetes.
