Job Description:
Simplified Mine Instruments (SMI) is looking for an enthusiastic Technical Sales Representative to promote and sell our underground monitoring devices to mining and tunneling clients. In this role, you will identify customer needs, provide product recommendations, and conduct demonstrations to highlight the benefits of our solutions. Your responsibilities will include building long-term client relationships, preparing sales proposals, achieving sales targets, and offering after-sales support. You will collaborate with technical teams to address customer requirements and ensure satisfaction, playing a vital role in improving safety and operational efficiency for our clients.

Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Mining, or a related field (preferred).
  • 2+ years of experience in sales, preferably in technical or industrial products.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to understand and explain technical concepts effectively.
  • Knowledge of mining or underground operations is a plus.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to meet and exceed sales goals.
