Job Description:

Overview
Assumes accountability for annual targeted profitable sales volume; sales growth in the distributor channel for defined customers; maintain relationships with key decision makers; support overall team objectives; timely submission of reports and project work; meet or exceed annual sales plan; resolve distributor concerns to maintain successful and open relations.
The Account Manager, Distribution responsibilities will include, but are not limited to the following:
• Develop joint business plans in conjunction with assigned distributors for revenue growth
• alignment 
• Develops field sales plans.
• Manages sales growth to achieve profitability goals.
• Analyses data from cross functional groups to develop solutions for streamlining sales process and collections.
• Communicates with representatives and distributor management regarding meetings, account calls and other business needs as appropriate.
• Analyzes data and information about distributors for marketing potential and to identify opportunities
• Reviews operational records and reports to project sales and determine profitability.
• Provides ongoing strategic insights to Marketing and senior leadership regarding market conditions, needs and opportunities.
Education and Experience Required 
• BA/BS in marketing, business, or related business experience.
• Experience in selling to and with distributors is a plus, preferably in the chemical space.

• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Power Point, Excel, Word experience.
