Position Summary The University of Wisconsin – River Falls invites applications for an Assistant Professor in its NASP Accredited School Psychology program. The program shares a department with a CACREP approved School Counseling program, exclusively focused on graduate student education. The position is a full-time, nine-month, tenure-track position. A full course load is equal to 12-credits each semester in addition to student advising, service and professional development.

Responsibilities Teach three School Psychology graduate courses per semester Maintain an advising caseload of graduate students Supervise students in field placements including practicum and/or internship Collaborate with other faculty members within the program, department, college and university Actively participate in department and program meetings Engage in program-related applied research and scholarly activity Engage in professional and service activities on campus, locally, state-wide and/or nationally Demonstrate commitment to social justice and respect for diversity in all forms Exhibit a personal and professional development mindset Other activities as assigned Knowledge Skills and Abilities Qualifications Required: Candidates must hold a doctoral degree in School Psychology (ABD with completion prior to start of contract will be considered) Strong oral and written communication skills Willingness to work collaboratively within the university and with external collaborating professionals Demonstrated awareness of, sensitivity to, and responsiveness to diverse student populations (diversity broadly defined): furthermore, a demonstrated ability to contribute to the University’s commitment to enhancing student awareness and appreciation of diverse cultures, backgrounds, and identities is expected Qualifications Preferred: Demonstrated success in graduate level teaching is considered an asset
