Director of Investor Relations
Our Client, a healthcare technology company, is seeking a skilled Director of Investor Relations to join their team.
Responsibilities:
- Target, plan, and manage virtual and in-person investor meetings, collaborating closely with the CEO and CFO.
- Drive the preparation of quarterly earnings materials, including key messages, press releases, and conference call materials.
- Handle inbound investor inquiries and maintain proper disclosure practices on the company’s investor relations website.
- Cultivate strong relationships with internal teams (finance, legal, accounting, marketing) to enhance understanding and execute responsibilities effectively.
- Master and execute best practices in Investor Relations, including principles of materiality and fair disclosure.
- Contribute to ad hoc projects and analyses as needed.
Required Skills:
- 7-10 years of relevant public company experience, including investor relations and/or finance roles (investment banking or asset management experience is a plus).
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- Expectation of 10% travel.
- Excellent understanding of financial modeling and valuation concepts used by analysts and investors.
- Broad knowledge of capital markets and the ability to interpret trends.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative, multi-tasking environment.
- Strong executive presence and effective engagement with senior leadership.

Determining compensation for this role (and others) at Vaco depends upon a wide array of factors including but not limited to:
- the individual’s skill sets, experience and training;
- licensure and certification requirements;
- office location and other geographic considerations;
- other business and organizational needs.
With that said, as required by local law, Vaco believes that the following salary range referenced above reasonably estimates the base compensation for an individual hired into this position in geographies that require salary range disclosure. The individual may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses.
