Soccer Shots Boise is a youth soccer organization for children 2 – 8 years old that teaches children introductory soccer skills in childcare centers, preschools, and public spaces, and we’re looking for coaches 
 
We’ve got the curriculum, the equipment, and the apparel you bring the enthusiasm, responsibility, and love for children and soccer As a Soccer Shots coach, you will be the face of our organization. You will be out in the community running 30 – 45 minute soccer sessions and will be responsible for creating an awesome experience for each and every child. Our coaches do not sit on the sidelines, but instead are hands on doing all the activities with the kids. 
 
Coaching is fun for sure, but it’s also a lot of work, and we have high expectations. If you’re up for the challenge, have experience working with children, and want to be a part of an organization that’s making a difference every day – fill out an application
 
Important details:
 -              Must be at least 18 years old
-              Must pass a Child Abuse History Clearance and background check
-              Must be certified or be willing to become certified in CPR/AED and First Aid through American Heart  Assoc, American Red Cross, or American Safety & Health Institute 
-              Must have your own car, and it’s reliable
-              Ability to work with little supervision (once you get your schedule, you’ll be expected to show up, on time, at every location each week)
-              You’ll commit to the entire season – this is very important given the age of children we work with
-              Pay starts at $18 for each 30 minute session
-              Coaches can coach anywhere from 3 – 30+ sessions/week depending on availability
-              Programs run Monday - Saturday
-              Coaches with Saturday morning availability are prioritized
-              Must have at least two seasons of availability (non-seasonal position)

1.    Our developmentally appropriate curriculum places an emphasis on character development and skill building.
2.    Our program is created under the guidance of childhood education specialists, professional soccer players and experienced and licensed soccer coaches.
3.    We constantly re-evaluate and update our curriculum to stay current with childhood education standards.
