Job Title: Traveling Project Manager - Heavy Civil Construction

Position Overview: We are seeking a Traveling Project Manager with a background in heavy civil construction to oversee and manage projects on-site. This role requires living on-site for extended periods (6-8 months per project), with opportunities to travel home periodically.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and coordinate major roadway, bridge, and dam/spillway construction projects from start to finish.
  • Ensure project adherence to schedule, budget, quality, and safety standards.
  • Collaborate with engineers, contractors, and stakeholders to resolve project-related issues and challenges.
  • Conduct regular site inspections and progress meetings to monitor project milestones and performance.
  • Communicate effectively with the project team, clients, and management to provide updates and address concerns.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management within heavy civil construction.
  • Proven track record of successfully delivering projects on time and within budget.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to travel extensively and live on-site for extended periods as required.
