Qualifications of Mobile Diesel Technician:

  • Over 3 years of experience in diesel repair and maintenance within a heavy truck/fleet dealership or shop setting
  • Proficient in multiple systems such as A/C, brakes, emissions, and air, with strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills for diesel engines
  • Competent in computer operations and software, including Microsoft Office Suite
  • Willingness to work on call and irregular hours, including roadside assistance in all weather conditions

Responsibilities of Mobile Diesel Technician:

  • Execute precise repairs and maintenance on Diesel Engines/Heavy Duty Trucks following manufacturer-prescribed procedures
  • Thoroughly and promptly fill out all necessary documentation, such as repair details on work orders and information for state and emission inspections
  • Identify vehicle failures through systematic disassembly, repair, and reassembly of parts
  • Demonstrate commitment to Company and industry safety standards
  • Conduct inspections on brake systems, steering mechanisms, wheel bearings, and other critical components to ensure customers' vehicles are in optimal operating conditions
