Overview:

If you're looking for a dynamic and high impact analytical finance role in a profitable, exponentially growing company, we’re hiring. We are seeking an Associate to help drive capital and risk management. The position will play a key role in building and deploying quantitative models for senior leadership to make well informed decisions regarding insurance risk levels, reinsurance purchasing, and capital structures. This is a hybrid role based in Seattle.

What you’d be doing:

Supporting executive decision making by developing financial models.Participating in strategic reviews of insurance portfolios and related carrier capitalDeveloping and deploying decision tools for evaluating portfolio decisionsSystematizing and supporting the evaluation of proprietary, rating agency and regulatory capital requirements.Developing strong subject matter expertise and quantitative skills relating to catastrophe risk.

We’re looking for someone who has:

At least 1-2 years of experience in financial analysis.Intermediate (or better) Excel skills, with a strong interest in further developing these skills.Strong initiative and interpersonal skills.The ability to communicate orally and in writing regarding financial performance.Able to manage competing priorities and keep well organized documentation.

Highly preferred candidates also have:

Experience in property insurance, accounting or probabilistic risk analysis.A degree from a 4-year accredited university/college in one of the following degree programs: Bachelors or Masters in: Finance, Accounting, Economics or Business
