Shipping clerks are required to pull, pack, and ship orders while also verifying accuracy to ensure customer orders are completed correctly and efficiently.Responsibilities:
  • Pull, pack, stage and ship orders from inventory racks and storage areas.
  • Match part numbers and quantities to shipping documents.
  • Ensure correct customer shipping addresses and shipping labels.
  • Identify low or zero stock shortages and report to supervisor.
  • Handle products and equipment in a safe and orderly manner to prevent injury to self or others.
  • Regular attendance required.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work area.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
Requirements:
  • Moderate physical exertion requiring standing, walking, climbing and lifting− some heavy lifting requiring two people to lift safely.
  • Mechanical ability and technical aptitude to acquire product knowledge.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks.
  • Ability to continuously prioritize responsibilities to meet the needs of a changing environment.
  • Ability to work in a team environment.
  • Positive attitude
  • Organized and detail oriented.
  • Safely operate a stand-up forklift (preferred)
Experience & Education:· High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred· Ability to speak, read and write English clearly and understandably.· Good mathematical skills using whole numbers.· Good communications skills· Basic computer skills· Warehouse: 1 year (preferred)· Shipping: 1 year (preferred)
