A leading asphalt and paving company is actively seeking an experienced and driven Project Manager to join their team.  The Project Manager will oversee the day-to-day operations for asphalt and paving construction projects and will ensure that the project is completed safely, on schedule and within budget.  This is a great opportunity for a Project Manager to join a team that is dedicated to safety, quality and growth. Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5+ years estimating experience in asphalt, grading or similar field, including experience as a sub-contractor.
  • Solicit and respond to bid opportunities across assigned geographic region.
  • Strong network of contacts and customer relationships within industry strongly preferred
  • Methodically evaluate and analyze bid specifications, plans, scope of work, related drawings, production rates, and profitability margins 
  • Stable work history
  • Bachelors in Civil Engineering, Construction Management (or equivalent work experience)
  • Experience with heavy civil construction equipment
  • Large heavy/highway project experience, commercial, residential 
  • Asphalt, underground and grading experience
  • Ability to work effectively and efficiently in a high-pressure environment with competing priorities.
  • Strong technical skills including Microsoft Office applications.
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) coupled with ability to communicate with a wide variety of people and backgrounds.
