Paving Project Manager Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced Paving Project Manager to oversee roadway and bridge construction projects in a safe, efficient, and cost-effective manner. The ideal candidate will have extensive project management experience on FDOT projects, as well as a deep understanding of asphalt paving, heavy civil construction, and roadwork.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop project plans, budgets, and schedules
  • Oversee bid processes, subcontractor selection, and project bidding
  • Organize and manage job site personnel, subcontractors, and vendors
  • Ensure compliance with FDOT regulations, specs, and standards
  • Monitor project progress and identify issues or opportunities for improvement
  • Resolve conflicts and address any safety concerns
  • Communicate with project stakeholders regarding project progress

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in project management
  • Proven experience on FDOT projects and with asphalt paving, heavy civil construction, and heavy highway projects
  • Strong knowledge of roadwork and bridge construction
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines
  • Proficiency with MS Office, project management software, and estimating software
