Key Responsibilities:

Provide Psychotherapeutic Services: Offer individual and group therapy sessions to clients, applying evidence-based therapeutic techniques to address their mental health needs.

Assessment and Diagnosis: Conduct comprehensive assessments to diagnose mental health conditions and develop personalized treatment plans.

Treatment Planning: Collaborate with the interdisciplinary treatment team to create and implement treatment plans that align with the facility's philosophy and the patient's goals.

Patient Progress Monitoring: Regularly assess and track patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed to ensure optimal outcomes.

Family Support and Liaison: Act as the primary point of contact between patients' families and external agencies, facilitating discharge planning, abuse reporting, and coordination of ongoing care.

Documentation: Maintain accurate and confidential patient records, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and guidelines.

Crisis Intervention: Respond to and manage crisis situations effectively, providing immediate support to patients in distress.

Continuing Education: Stay updated on the latest therapeutic techniques and research, participating in ongoing training and professional development opportunities.

Collaborative Teamwork: Work closely with other clinicians, nurses, and support staff to provide holistic and coordinated care to patients.

Patient Advocacy: Advocate for the well-being and rights of patients, ensuring they receive the highest standard of care and support during their treatment journey.


Qualifications

Qualifications : To excel in this role, you should have:

Clinical Expertise: A master's degree in counseling, psychology, or a related field. Licensure: Alaska LCSW or LPC licensure or eligibility for licensure preferred. Therapeutic Skills: Proficiency in providing psychotherapeutic services. Communication: Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
