Join North Star Behavioral Health Services in Anchorage, AK, as a Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist at our children's residential treatment center. We've been a leading provider of behavioral health services in Alaska since 1984, prioritizing family support through healing environments in acute care and residential treatment programs.

Position: Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist

Responsibilities:

+ Provide care for child and adolescent patients (ages 5-18) in the inpatient and residential treatment program.

+ Daily average caseload 12-14.

+ Conduct initial psychiatric evaluations, assessments, treatment team leadership, and patient discharges following hospital policies.

+ Monday-Friday schedule with daytime hours and shared call once per month.

Qualifications:

+ MD/DO degree from an accredited program.

+ Board eligibility/certification required.

+ Licensed to practice in the State of AK or ability to obtain AK medical license.

+ Meets all credentialing criteria.
