The Mail Handler is responsible for the efficient processing, sorting, and delivery of mail and packages within the organization. This role is critical to ensuring that all mail and parcels are handled securely and delivered in a timely manner.
Responsibilities:
• Prepare and process outgoing mail, including letters, packages, and courier services.
• Maintain accurate records of all incoming and outgoing mail.
• Ensure the timely delivery of mail within the organization.
• Organize and maintain the mailroom, keeping it stocked with necessary supplies.
• Report any discrepancies, damaged items, or security concerns to the supervisor.
• Follow all safety protocols and company policies.
• Assist with other administrative and mailroom tasks as needed.
Qualifications:
• Prolonged periods of standing and walking.
• Ability to lift and move packages up to 50 pounds.
