Primary Responsibilities:

Assist with various clerical and administrative tasks for the H&HPS Program, including providing customer service, answering phone calls, take messages, and redirect calls as necessary, correspondence, and preparing reports. Explain to the clients about programs and services available, provide resources to the community. Support the H&HPS Department maintaining accurate participants files and inventory support of the supplies as needed. Assist in outreach activities by providing information to the community about the programs and resources available and helping to coordinate the material and activities. Assist with other administrative tasks and projects as assigned. Handle incoming and outgoing mail and deliveries. Help manage professional relationships with staff and provide administrative support to the management team.

Requirements & Additional Expectations:

Bilingual as preferred in Spanish (is a plus) Minimum of 1 year of administrative experience, preferably as Administrative Assistant; non-profit experience is a plus. Excellent attention to detail with strong customer service skills, ability to multitask and to prioritize. Ability to communicate well in both written and verbal communication forms. Proactive attitude and volunteers willingly to take on additional responsibilities and assist with other team members’ projects. Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion. Highly proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook. Professional, reliable, flexible and have a positive, can-do attitude.

Physical Demands:

The role involves sitting (50%), walking (25%), and standing (25%) for extended periods. Ability to use hands and fingers for typing and handling objects. Occasional lifting and/or moving up to 30 pounds may be required. Excellent vision and communication skills are essential.

Pay Rate: $20 per hour Weekly Hours: Up to 10 hours per week
