In this position... 
Are you an electrical engineer with passion for creating products for a better world? Do you enjoy staying on top of all the new technological developments? We are seeking forward-thinking professionals to join our team working on advanced electronic modules for next generation vehicles. The successful candidate will work alongside the Ford Electrical & Electronic HW Technical Specialists and with the design team to create innovative new electrical and electronics systems and products, and drive engineering excellence. Responsibilities include implementation of circuits including schematic and PCB layout, proving out the designs using the latest analysis and simulation methods and issue resolution.


You'll have... 
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field of study.
5+ years of experience in electronics circuits design, modeling and analysis, preferably in a high reliability industry (automotive, aero-space, medical, .

Even better, you may have...
Master's degree in Electrical Engineering.
Experience in Electronic Circuit disciplines and processes.
Experience with CAD tools (. Mentor Graphics, Cadence Design Systems, .
Experience with circuit analysis software tools, . Mathcad, and simulation tools: Spice, Saber, etc.
Experience with vehicle communication protocols CAN, LIN, Automotive Ethernet.
Experience in specialized complex hardware and embedded software systems
Knowledgeable on microprocessors, solid state memory, cameras, displays and sensors
Working knowledge of industry standard interfaces (. I2C, SPI, Ethernet, LVDS, DDR, PCI, I2S, A2B,
Experience working with test equipment (. programable power supplies, DMMs, oscilloscopes, logic and network analyzers, temperature chambers,
Proficient in simulation tools for signal integrity and power management circuitry.
Experience in specialized complex hardware and embedded software systems.
Familiar with automotive reliability requirements, and component selection for automotive electronics.
Familiar with automotive EMC requirements and good design practices for EMC robust design.
Ability to communicate effectively with business users and engineering professionals (. globally distributed teams, ability to adjust communications appropriately for the audience, work with all levels of management and diverse work groups,
Motivated and self-starter.
Collaboration and leadership skills.
