Job Description:
Soliant is seeking a dedicated and skilled Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our educational team in Northridge, CA, for the 2024-2025 school year. The ideal candidate will be committed to supporting the academic and behavioral development of students through the application of behavior analysis principles. As a BCBA, you will work collaboratively with students, families, and school staff to create positive and inclusive learning environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct functional behavior assessments (FBAs) and develop individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs).
- Implement and monitor behavior intervention plans to ensure they are effective and achieving desired outcomes.
- Provide direct services to students, including one-on-one and group interventions.
- Train and support teachers, paraprofessionals, and other school staff in the implementation of behavior intervention strategies.
- Collect and analyze data to assess student progress and make data-driven decisions.
- Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with other professionals to develop comprehensive support plans for students.
- Provide crisis intervention and support as needed.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of assessments, interventions, and student progress.
- Stay current with best practices and developments in the field of behavior analysis.
Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Education, or a related field.
- Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification.
- Experience working as a BCBA, preferably in a school setting.
- Strong understanding of behavior analysis principles and techniques.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively with students, families, and school staff.
- Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and ethical standards.
