SUMMARY
Responsible for receiving, stocking, preparation and shipping of merchandise to customers in local and outlying areas.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

Accurately select/pick merchandise from assigned slot and confirm the correct quantity and unit of measure. Drop merchandise for "reserve" to "pick" slots. Receive and stock merchandise as well as process returned merchandise. Assemble and check pre-packs. Prepare VIA merchandise for shipment on freight lines. Accurately adhere to Warehouse Labor Standard, “Preferred Method Standard”. Identify and report slot and put-away problems. Shrink wrap merchandise/pallets after picking as needed. Performs house keeping duties as assigned. Perform other duties as assigned.

External Qualifications

Required:  High School Diploma or GED equivalent. Ability to operate forklift/pallet jack and cherry picker; ability to lift 40-60 pounds repeatedly each shift, ability to bend, stoop, climb, stand and twist for extended periods of time; ability to successfully complete forklift training/certification requirements; and ability to operate a Radio Frequency (RF). Must be currently enrolled in an accredited college level university and working towards a degree.

Preferred: Previous knowledge of SAP, one year warehouse experience and previous forklift certification.
