Parts Picker

Job Title: Parts Picker Purpose: To pick and deliver manufacturing orders accurately, on time and in a professional manner. Principle Accountabilities: • Receive and check pick lists for manufacturing order • Locate products using MRP systems • Retrieve orders according to quantity, size, etc. ensuring accuracy and quality of material are satisfactory. • Build pallets with orders and position them to loading docks. • Re-stock inventory manually or with warehouse equipment. • Keep records or completed orders. • Maintain equipment and report on malfunctions • Adhere to health and safety policies and quality standards Qualification requirements: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. (Provide 5-8 requirements for skills and/or past work experience.) • Must be able to lift 70 to 90 lbs • Experience or certified in handling forklifts, pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment (Sit down and stand up reach truck required) • Excellent computer skills (System transaction, websites) • Print interpretation • Ability to multitask and work in a fast paced environment • Ability to communicate and work well with co-workers and internal teams • Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers. • High school diploma or GED equivalent.
