NEEDED - highly skilled and motivated Insurance Defense Attorney with 3+ years of experience. AV-rated regional insurance defense firm has an opening in their Richmond, VA office. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in insurance defense, trial experience and a proven track record of providing strategic legal advice.

If you're a "go to" person and see the big picture, this insurance defense firm is looking for you. With the ability to help maintain long-term client relations, this is a great opportunity to continue to develop your skills as an attorney.

Background:

  • 3 + years of insurance defense or commercial litigation experience
  • Experience handling all phases of State and Federal civil litigation matters
  • Ability to handle files independently
  • Concentration on Property, Casualty and Coverage matters
  • Strong discovery, evaluation and writing skills with insurance defense cases
  • Client contact and trial experience is preferred
  • Excellent academic record
  • Judicial clerkships and prosecutorial experience are a plus
