As a Premier Outside Sales rep, you can take care of our customers and their needs fairly and honestly. Our most successful Outside Sales reps possess strong people skills and communication skills, along with a strong passion for success. To be successful in this role, you should have prior customer service and sales knowledge, which includes the following:

  • Objection handling and closing skills
  • Communicate professionally and effectively with customers, coworkers, and vendors.
  • Maintain organization and follow up with customers and members of the team
  • Have a valid driver's license

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Schedule and coordinate appointments with incoming leads
  • Using your Sales experience to self-generate leads. Networking, trade shows and door-to-door are part of the position
  • Experience selling to customers in person, over the phone, and virtually. 
  • Must be goal-oriented, self-starting, energetic, and genuine empathy for customers and a willingness to help others.   
  • Keeping up with product and service information and updates.
  • Communicating with customers, making outbound calls to potential customers, and following up on leads.
  • Creating and maintaining a database of current and potential customers.
  • Explaining and demonstrating features of products and services.
  • Staying informed about competitor's products and offers.
  • Upselling products and services.
  • Closing sales and achieving sales targets.
  • Develops/closes by checking customers’ history, suggesting related items, and explaining technical features.
  • Maintains and improves quality results by following standards and recommending improved policies and procedures.
  • Updates job knowledge by studying product descriptions and participating in educational opportunities.
  • Accomplishes department and organization goals by accepting ownership to accomplish new and different objectives.

Qualifications and Skills
Experience:

  • Sales: 1 year (Required)
  • Inside/outside sales: 1 year (Required)
Education:

  • High school or equivalent (Required)
